Look for a stated starting point
A helpful beginner description says what you are expected to know and what the lesson introduces. Check for a warm-up chapter, explanations of the teacher’s terminology and a preview of the camera view. A short sample is more informative than the word “easy” on a cover.
Separate watching from following
On the first viewing, notice the structure: introduction, explanation, demonstration and repeat. Find the pause and chapter controls before you need them. You can learn how a lesson is organised without attempting every movement on screen.
Keep questions specific
Write “Does the teacher start this phrase on the left at 03:20?” instead of “I cannot do this.” A clear reference gives a teacher something concrete to explain. Stop a section that feels unsuitable and bring the question to a class.
