The playback desk

Give a secondhand disc a closer look.

Check the edition, contents and playback description before buying an older dance DVD.

01

Identify the actual edition

Read the instructor, title, disc count, region and language from the listing photos. A similar cover can belong to a different edition or part of a series. Check whether printed notes or accompanying discs are included.

02

Ask what “tested” means

A seller may have tested only the menu or the opening minutes. Ask whether the disc has been played through and whether any problems were noticed. Cosmetic condition and successful playback are different observations.

03

Read the terms before buying

Use the seller’s current description and returns policy. Old advertisements do not establish current availability, prices or compatibility. DanceDVD does not stock discs, take payment or claim to have tested products mentioned in general guides.
